Bone Grafting

Why Bone Grafting Is Done

Bone grafting may be recommended if:

  • A tooth has been missing for a long time

  • You have experienced bone loss from infection or gum disease

  • An extraction site needs to be preserved for a future implant

Rebuilding the bone helps protect facial structure, prevent shifting of nearby teeth, and create a strong foundation for your implant.

What to Expect

Bone grafting is performed right here in our office, often at the same time as a tooth extraction. We use biocompatible grafting materials and advanced techniques to support natural healing and bone growth.

Most patients experience minimal discomfort and are able to return to normal activities quickly. Dr. Piccione and our team will walk you through every step so you always know what to expect.
